UK double divan beds measure 4ft 6in (137cm) wide by 6ft 3in (190cm) long. This makes them a great choice for couples and individuals who like the extra space to spread out. 

Double divan beds also provide you with plenty of storage space in the integrated drawers within the divan bed base, perfect for storing away smaller items until you need them. 

Our double divan beds don’t all come with mattresses as standard, however we do have sets available where you can purchase both a divan bed and mattress together. 

All our divan beds with mattresses included come with a super comfortable and supportive memory foam mattress that moulds to the contours of your body. However, if you prefer a different mattress type, you can upgrade your mattress to either our Silk pocket sprung mattress that provides adaptive support no matter what position you sleep in or our Sovereign hybrid mattress that expertly combines both pocket sprung and memory foam technology to give you the best of both worlds. 

However, if neither of these mattresses take your fancy, we have a wide range of fantastic mattresses to choose from that you can purchase alongside any of our divan beds. 

There’s a variety of drawer options to choose from when you opt for a double divan bed. You can have up to four drawers in a variety of configurations to suit your needs. Whether you opt for 2 drawers on either side (perfect for couples), 2 drawers on only one side or a large foot end drawer, you’ll have plenty of drawer space for your belongings. Perfect for storing away smaller items such as books, clothes and even shoes. 

We’ve got a wide range of beautiful headboard designs to choose from in our collection. Plus, once you’ve chosen a design to suit your bedroom decor and personal taste, you can select from our range of fabrics to upholster your headboard too. 

Each of our headboard designs are represented by the different divan bed products that are available in our range, so simply choose the divan bed that has the headboard you want and tweak your options from there. 

All our divan beds have our 32 inch strut headboard selected as standard, but if you want to upgrade your headboard, you could opt for our opulent 54 inch floor standing headboard option which really makes a statement.

It’s very unlikely that a divan bed base, even when disassembled, would fit into a standard sized car. A bed frame is a little different and may well fit in after being taken apart as long as you put the seats down, but we wouldn’t recommend trying to fit a double divan bed into your car.
