How does Klarna work?

Klarna acts as a payment extension when buying items off of your favourite websites. Whilst working directly through business, Klarna also has their own app which is easy to use and set up to track your payments and orders.

Pay off your order in instalments

Klarna gives you piece of mind as you pay off your purchase in 3 easy steps. Your first instalment is paid off on the day of purchase. The following 3 are scheduled by Klarna automatically every 30 days.

Paying off your order in 30 days

Purchase your items and get up to 30 days from your purchase to settle you balance in full, with no extra fees added.

Can I qualify for finance with Klarna?

Klarna has a criteria that must be met in order to take advantage of their finance options. You must be:

  • 18 years and over

  • UK Resident for longer than 3 years with a consecutive address

  • Full time employment needed

  • Possess a UK bank account that can accept Direct Debits

  • Pay Later 30

    You are able to opt for their first option which allows you to buy now then pay later within 30 days. This is with no extra interest, as long as the payment is made within the 30 day interval. If you are unable to make the payment, Klarna does offer an extension date, be sure to inform them directly though on this via their mobile app or website.

  • Pay Later in 3 instalments

    Alternatively you can pay for your Sloomy order in 3 instalments. They come out on a monthly basis and are done so automatically. This is the best and safest way to spread out the cost of your purchase. Be sure to make the payments on time or you may incur any extra charges.

Clearpay is similar to Klarna, offering shoppers a stress free payment service that puts you in control of your purchases.

Clearpay payments explained

Shop at your favourite stores and retailers online and opt for the Clearpay payment option at checkout. Create your account if necessary or if you are a returning customer enter your credentials to make your easy interest free purchase.

Shoppers get their orders split into 4 payments that are payable every 2 weeks. Dates for your remaining payments will be given to you directly by Clearpay, with your first payment being completed upon the point of initial purchase.
