Our 2022 favourites for your Next Bedroom Makeover

2022 is soon to come to a close, and here at Next Divan we have reviewed our customer’s choice of beds based on the year’s sales. Grey is still a sought-after colour and both Linen and Plush fabrics are forefront in materials which our customers opt for.

In one of our latest blogs we tackled bed sizes, and the UK is seeing a definite shift from the standard double bed to King Size beds. We truly do appreciate that little extra space at night!

Find below some of our bestsellers from 2021, all great options to consider if you're thinking about your next bedroom makeover!

The Premier Ottoman Bed

The Premier Ottoman is the best-selling bed across our portfolio of products. It is available in both foot end and side opening configurations, two great options for when you are looking at the ease of opening the bed for extra storage. 

The King Size, with a floor standing headboard is only £444.14 (price December 2022). Grey is still the sought-after colour and both linen and plush fabrics lead the way. The storage bed is still a great item to have in the bedroom, traditionally this was a drawer divan; however, people have realised you receive far more storage space in a gas assisted Ottoman bed, really making the most of your bedroom space.

The Premium Divan Bed

Still one of the best sellers in our list, the Premium Divan seems to be snapped up across a wide age range. At first, we could have imagined the purchaser being 40-60 however, we were wrong when we analysed the sales. Is Mum and Dad offering advice on which bed to buy for new homeowners? Or is it a conscious decision in the economic climate to get the most for your £££. The Premium Divan offers stability, storage, and a un-dated style for as little as 181.80 (Price dated Dec 2022), and this includes a memory foam mattress.

Colours, yes again Grey is the most popular. Do we live in a monochrome world? Linen Grey and the Plush Velvet Charcoal are the favourite again. You can almost imagine the setting which was widely copied throughout 2022, Denim blue walls, black picture frames above the headboard.

New for 2022, but becoming one of our best sellers

The Ellston Ottoman Bed was launched around August 2022. In the 4 months of it being online, this metal framed Ottoman is quickly becoming the ‘people’s choice’. Available with interchangeable panels, so the colour and overall style of your ottoman can be changed with very little fuss.
